Application Description:
Easily create your child's personal identification card (including pictures)
and SAVE it on your cell phone.
The Child Alert application allows you to easily create and store your child's digital profile directly on your cell phone, so you can carry it with you wherever you go. Time is precious in case of an emergency. With Child Alert you can instantly email your child’s profile to proper authority thereby allowing you to gain valuable time and consequently permitting authorities to treat the emergency much more expeditiously. The application also prompts you to update the stored information at a frequency of your choosing so that the profile is constantly kept up to date. Child Alert is an essential tool for all caring parents.

How to use the application:
To create your child's profile, enter his or her name in the "Profile" tab. Then, enter the basic information: your child's full name, date of birth, and physical description, such as weight, height, and hair color.

Another section allows you to add other characteristics specific to your child, such as allergies, illnesses or other indications.

You can then upload your child's pictures, which you can retrieve directly from your cell phone’s camera, or pictures that are already saved to your phone. Add the pictures according to the description, such as head-on, left side profile, right side profile, etc...

Save your changes by clicking the "Save” button located in the top right corner of your screen.

In the "Settings" button, you can program an «update» reminder, and change your child's information and pictures. If your child is very young, we recommend updating the profile regularly, so that all the information is as accurate as possible.

Example #1
You are in a shopping center and you have lost sight of your child. In just a few seconds, you can access your child's profile (pictures and detailed description) that you had previously filled out. You can quickly notify the security guard and share the contents of the profile either in person or via email.


Example #2
In case of an emergency, such as an abduction or disappearance, you can quickly notify the police, having all the information about your child within arm's reach, thereby saving precious time that can make a world of difference. You can instantly send the profile to authorities by email to help you report the event more easily.

Help find missing kids:
Part of the funds collected will be donated to an organization in your province that assists families in the search of their missing children. In Quebec, these funds will be donated to the Missing Children's Network.
